My story
Music has played a major role in my life ever since I was young. My father was a semi-professional musician, and my brother and sister also played music. I started playing the saxophone when I was nine years old, in Ter Aar, South Holland. At first, I took weekly lessons, and later I joined the local fanfare orchestra. Since then, I’ve always continued playing the saxophone as a hobby. In daily life, I have a regular job, but outside of work I play music as much as possible.
At the beginning of 2024, Otto invited me to join CCO’s children’s performance. The joy and enthusiasm of both the children and the musicians made a big impression on me. Since then, I’ve been performing with CCO whenever possible. It can sometimes be a challenge to combine with work and family life, but it’s absolutely worth it.
