My story
Music always played a major role at home: my father was a semi-professional musician, and my brother and sister also played music. I started playing the saxophone when I was nine, in Ter Aar, South Holland. Initially, I took lessons every week, and later I also joined the brass band. I've always continued this as a hobby. In daily life, I have a regular office job, but outside of work, I play music as much as possible. Through Otto, I was asked in 2024 to fill in for CCO's children's show. The children's enthusiasm made a deep impression. Since then, I've played as often as possible. It can be a bit of a balancing act, juggling work and family life, but it's absolutely worth it.
